Maternity, Adoption, and Behavioral Health

All of the employees at the Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Baton Rouge Adoption Services are professional social workers licensed to conduct adoption home studies and obtain birth parent relinquishments. All staff members are licensed by the state of Louisiana as Certified Adoption Investigators (also known as adoption specialists). Catholic Charities also utilizes volunteers who are adoptive parents and others who are committed to the field of adoption services.
